How to make triple infused crystal rose water at home in 8 simple steps!

We’re going to teach you guys how easy it is to make your own fresh rose water at home with a little bit of patience and in just over 1 hr! It’s by far one of our most favorite products to make, because roses are just so amazing and wonderful to touch! This is our method, everyone has their own way of making rose water, but this is our way which we've found to be easy, fun and highly effective! Every time I make this rose water I feel completely relaxed and just love this zen time! I’m constantly in awe of the sheer divine beauty of a rose! They’re so delicate, so precious to touch and their petals are amazing to wash and handle!

Ok this is what you need:

16 organic roses- preferably locally grown larger pink or red roses - locally sourced roses are the way to go because this is your skins natural environment and there are lots of natural minerals and vitamins unique to each type of rose and where it is grown! Also try to get the roses that are literally about to fall off the flower into petals. Why? Well older roses have matured in both texture and scent. They are easier to handle and make it much easier to extract their magical scent & goodness.

1 large clear glass cooking bowl - a clear glass bowl allows you to see the color of the water which is really handy!

1 1/2 cups of hot water - not boiling - just boiled and cooled for 1 minute water. You don’t want the water to be too hot or you could scorch your delicate roses.

1 1/2 cups of room temperature Fiji bottled water

1 large dinner plate

1 x 8 oz mason jar

1 x 4 oz spray bottle

1 moonstone, 1 green aventurine crystal, 1 clear quartz crystal, 1 rose quartz crystal, 1 blue agate crystal , 1 yellow citrine crystal - or ANY crystals you like!

Step 1.

Gently twist each rose at a time in a circular motion, cupping the rose in your hand to allow the rose petals to gently fall off the flower and into the bowl. Place the petals in a clear glass bowl, and discard the rose stems. Repeat this process for each rose, so you are left with a whole pile of beautiful rose petals.

Step 2.

Wash the petals throughly ensuring there is not one single spec of dirt or bugs on the roses. Place the washed rose petals onto clean wash towels and gently pat them dry the petals.

Step 3.

Divide the rose petals into 3 equal piles. We’re going to infuse 1 pile at a time and then infuse the rose water 3 times into itself!

Step 4.

Fill the glass bowl with 1/2 cup of hot water and 1/2 cup of the Fiji bottled water and place each of your crystals into the bottom of the bowl. Now sprinkle 1 pile of your roses into the warm water. Use a wooden spoon and gently push the petals down and gently stir so that they are covered entirely in the hot water. Cover the top of your bowl with a dinner plate and let the petals steep in the warm water for 15- 20 minutes. When you see the water turn pink to deep red you know they’re ready, don’t steep for too long otherwise your rose water will turn brown and bitter.

Step 5.

Now it’s time to drain your first pile of rose petals, use a kitchen fine wire sieve and drain the rose water into a mason jar. Discard the petals. Be sure your crystals stay in the bowl ;-)

Step 6.

Take your second pile of roses and again place in the glass bowl and pour in your fresh rose water from the mason jar and your 1/2 cup of hot water and 1/2 cup Fiji bottled water and your second pile of rose petals. Cover the bowl with the dinner plate and let stand for 15-20 minutes until you see the rose water turn pink / red. Strain as above into the mason jar.

Step 7.

Repeat the process above one last time taking your final pile of fresh rose petals and your two infused rose waters along with 1/2 cup of hot water and 1/2 cup Fiji bottled water. Cover your petals with the dinner plate and let steep for 15-20 minutes for one last time.

Step 8.

Strain your petals into your mason jar and place your crystals into the mason jar and you should be left with 3 cups of fresh triple infused crystal rose water.  Store your rose water in the mason jar in the fridge for 2-3 weeks! You can also pour some into a 4 oz spray bottle for using on your face in the AM + PM. Why not give some rose water spray to your bestie or Mom! They’ll love you forever and think you are a total goddess!! You can also freeze your left over rose water into mini ice cubes 🧊 if you don’t use it all, and it will keep in the freezer for up to 2 months.
