The card’s messages are shown through animals and nature. After being so inspired by nature and my guides, Holly knew that animals needed to be the visual storytellers for this deck. She collaged them in weird ways making the cards look like present-day Christian Prayer cards or Buddhist Deity paintings!
Philadelphia based Holly Simple is a multi media artist and designer with a strong focus on hand illustration and inking. Her work ranges from hand-painted clothing, illustrated tarot and oracle decks, children’s books, lowbrow zines and comics to a jewelry line of hand built 14k and precious gemstone rings!
Holly is most recognized for her self titled “HOLLY SIMPLE TAROT” deck which can be found sprinkled throughout the globe in the most adorable and special boutiques!
With a deep need to create tools for growth, Holly continues to craft divinely inspired decks and books that she hopes will help humans navigate this world. Her latest, Amulet Friends Oracle was a year and half long project that was inspired by time in the Southwest and her evolving relationship with Mother nature.
